The International Silicone Conference will have as strong a technical program as in past years. The keynote speaker will be Kent Furst, Senior Analyst in Polymers for The Freedonia Group. Mr. Furst has written nearly 50 industry studies since joining The Freedonia Group in 2005. He has been cited in an array of publications including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNBC and has written such titles as Silicones, World Silicones, World Bioplastics, World Thermoplastic Elastomers and Adhesives & Sealants. Mr. Furst will present "The World Silicone Market: Overview & Forecasts."

Matt Proske, Vice President at SIGMA Plastic Services, Inc. will also be part of the program. He will be presenting a paper on the computer simulation of LIMS Molding. R.D. Abbott's Technical Manager, Rick Ziebell, is giving a presentation on LSR dynamic flow properties.
New programs include one from the CEO of ViscoTec America, Gerald Pfeiler, who is presenting a paper called "Precise Dosing of 1K/2K Silicones without the Risk of Contamination by Air," while Jeff Salamon from QSR is covering "The Use of FEA Tools in the Development Process." Jason Holbrook from Krauss Maffei will present "Advanced Injection Machine Technologies for Silicones."
